Course StructureAn overview of lesson times, starting from the first day
First Day (Monday)
The first day begins with reception, registration and a short language test. The test is nothing to worry about – it’s specifically designed to put you in a class with other students of a similar level to yours. The test will be followed by a session / welcome speech, the handing out of the teaching calendar and other activities, and possibly lessons. Here is an example::

From Tuesday Onwards
From the second day you will begin to follow the regular academic calendar. During the week, two different teachers will alternate, so you will be able to compare different types of pronunciation, the first Wednesday of your course you will receive the textbook and then, a little at a time, the other supplementary teaching materials. Note that during the high season the school adopts a calendar called “Double Banking”, the lessons are held both in the morning and in the afternoon, but every other day. This simple system gives you the opportunity to enjoy your free time at different times of the day, for example you will have the morning of free Wednesday and the Thursday afternoon free. The calendar in the high season is normally as follows:

The price of a single ticket by ferry boat to Malta is about €1.40 (which you only pay on your return to Malta).
